Sharon Kedar is a co-founder and partner at Northpond Venture, a multibillion-dollar science-driven venture capital firm consistently named among the most active lead life science investors in venture industry rankings. The firm is also deeply engaged in the academic ecosystem, having founded The Laboratory for Bioengineering Research and Innovation.
In January 2024, Kedar expanded her reach by launching Innovate and Elevate, a podcast focused on women’s health featuring in-depth conversations with top doctors, scientists, and innovators on how their leading-edge discoveries impact our lives.
Now completing its first successful season, the podcast needed a refreshed brand identity that better reflects the dynamic personality of its host and the excitement of its focus.
Solution
We crafted and perfected the typography to maintain continuity with the established brand while enhancing its overall expression. Working closely with Sharon, we refined the brand identity to stay true to its core while elevating its design and aesthetics.
We introduced a brighter, fresher, and more contemporary color palette, replacing 'AND' with '&' for a compact and visually striking touch. We injected energy and invited engagement by refreshing the muted grey and blue tones with vibrant blue tones. This new palette reflects Sharon’s personal passion, entrepreneurial spirit, and the trailblazing excitement of the podcast.
Built around these elements, the new brand assets establish a cohesive style that enhances the identity across platforms and applications. As Innovate & Elevate gains momentum and influence, it boasts a powerful new look poised for the future.
